Air blends Laurel Leaf, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara and Ravensara — eight oils built around a cool, green, minty core. It smells like a walk through a eucalyptus grove on a cold morning, sharp and clean rather than sweet.

Peppermint and eucalyptus lead, with lemon lifting the top and a faint warmth from cardamom underneath. It is one of the more assertive blends in the range, so it changes the feel of a room quickly rather than sitting quietly in the background.

A couple of drops in a diffuser is usually enough. Some people keep a bottle by a desk for the aroma alone, or wipe a drop on a damp cloth over a windowsill or radiator cover so the scent lifts as the room warms.

Why people choose it

  • Cool, green, minty aroma led by eucalyptus and peppermint
  • A sharp, clean scent that changes the feel of a room quickly
  • Lemon and cardamom round out the top and base notes
  • Suits a diffuser more than topical use, given how assertive it is
  • Blends eight oils — Laurel, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara and Ravensara

How it smells

Cool and green, minty and sharp, with a bright citrus lift and a faint warmth from cardamom underneath.

How to use it

In a diffuser
One to two drops in a diffuser is plenty — it is one of the stronger blends and carries across a room fast.
On skin
If using on skin, dilute well with a carrier oil first and keep it away from the face.
Dilution
Dilute generously — start at one drop of Air to four or five drops of fractionated coconut oil.
Worth knowing
This is a diffuser-first blend for most people. A little goes a long way.

Common questions

What does Air actually smell like?

Cool and green, led by eucalyptus and peppermint, with a lift of lemon and a faint warmth from cardamom. It is one of the more assertive aromas in the range rather than something soft in the background.

How many drops should I use in a diffuser?

Start with one or two. It is a concentrated blend and carries across a room faster than something like Lavender or Wild Orange.

Can I apply it to my skin?

Yes, once diluted with a carrier oil. Given how assertive the aroma is, most people prefer the diffuser, but a diluted drop on the shoulders or back of the neck works if you want it with you through the day.

What does it blend well with?

It is strong enough that most people use it alone, but a drop alongside Wild Orange or Lavender in a diffuser softens the edge.
