Wild Orange is the friendliest citrus on the shelf. Where Lemon is sharp, this is round and sweet, closer to the smell of peeling a satsuma than to anything cleaning-related. Almost nobody dislikes it, which makes it a safe choice for shared spaces.

It is also the easiest oil to blend with. It sits happily under spices in the winter, over florals in the spring, and alongside mints year-round. If a blend feels slightly flat, a drop of Wild Orange usually lifts it.

It is one of the cheaper bottles, so it tends to be the one people diffuse most freely.
