dōTERRA Echinacea Essential Oil - 2.5ml

Echinacea essential oil is taken from Echinacea purpurea, the purple coneflower, a North American prairie plant with a long history of traditional use among indigenous peoples. It is a rare oil to find distilled, which is why it comes in a small 2.5ml bottle.

The aroma is earthy and green with a gentle floral lift. Naturally occurring compounds include germacrene-D and beta-caryophyllene, which give it a character somewhere between a herb and a meadow flower.

It is labelled for topical use. Dilute around 5 drops in 10ml of carrier oil for massage, or add a single drop to an unscented lotion or Fractionated Coconut Oil. Avoid the eyes and sensitive areas, and follow the cautions on the label.
